Dear Mackin family, I am heartbroken too, and in disbelief that this wonderful woman is gone from this earth. She was always such a bright star, from the moment I met her as a little girl when I moved down the street from your family, to when she grew to a 9 year old and babysat Kyle and Nick (I thought she was older since she was taller than I was!), to watching her grow into a beautiful and wonderful woman. I knew your daughter when she was a student teacher at SMBCCS in Los Angeles. She was such a positive, loving spirit....she left a lasting impression on me. As a fellow educator, she inspired me every day. I am so sorry for your loss. The world was a better place because of your daughter.
