Annette Oman Caine

To Annette's family, I am sorry for your loss, but I'm also sorry for our loss, too. The obituary says, "In high school Annette sang and performed and acted in her schools productions," but that doesn't begin to tell the story. Annette was not only in her high school's productions, she usually had the lead role, in both high school (Olympus) and junior high (Evergreen). None of us who saw her portrayal of Anne Sullivan in "The Miracle Worker" her senior year at Olympus will ever forget her stunning performance. So incredible was this production that Annette and the other cast members were written up in a lead editorial in the Salt Lake Tribune as an example of the good things much maligned young people can accomplish. May you find peace in knowing that Annette left an indelible impact for good on this world.
