Larry Kent Tanner

So sad that Larry is gone. He has been a presence in my life since the ?70's. A wonderfully kind man with fantastic stories to tell. He always had a complement for you and always remembered what was happening in your life. We will miss him terribly. Love you Steven! My dear Steve, Without your dear Larry (the love of your life), I never would have met my Steven (the love of mine.) I still recall decades ago when you and Larry visited me at my apartment across the breezeway from Larry's. Madly in love, the two of you sat at the baby grand piano while Larry serenaded you with Cole Porte love songs. Somewhere my Steven and your Larry are smiling broadly with the knowledge that they too both found the love of their lives ... us. I wish you all the strength necessary to grieve and grow. Larry, I am so sorry for your loss. I think the two of you set records of the longest relationship of people I know. Good for the two of you. Also, the example you set for our "family" was so important. Please keep memories of your times together close by. They do help. Peace my friend.

I have had the good fortune of being in Larry's realm for most of my life. His kindness and generosity toward my family throughout our childhood will live forever in our memories. His legendary stories will be passed along through generations! Rest in peace my beautiful friend. Love you forever.
