Gerald Frank Belko Sr.

In Loving Memory

Sandy and family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I'll always remember Gerry with his yellow VW and huge smile as he walked through the hall at the Rec Center after a spirited basketball game. He was always checking up on us and frequently asked about Diane. I've let her know of Gerry's passing. Hugs and blessings are being sent your way. Anita

I was saddened to learn of Gerry's passing today in our local newspaper. I only met Gerry once and that was at our weekend at Idaho State when we were both inducted in the ISU Sports HOF together in 2007. He was true gentleman and genuine person and I am thankful to have met him. May Gerry be blessed and may his family be blessed.

I extend my sympathy to your family along with my thoughts and prayers. I know that none of you have any idea who I am I just happened to see Gerry's obituary in The Salt Lake Tribune. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Gerry in Hobart. I was several years older than he and my sister, Jeanne, was a year younger. We spent many days playing baseball in the Belkow's back yard, while Mr. Belkow listened to baseball on the radio. Later, I played in the Hobart High School Band with Gerry. Many fond memories include him and his sister, Vivian.
