I just heard about Scott's passing. Seems as though it must have taken him quickly as we had gone out to lunch less than two months ago and he appeared happy, had a great appetite and memory! I will always remember his sense of humor - he made me laugh. He also made us laugh when he played Santa for my family Christmas party. He was a kind man and I will always remember Scott.

I am so sorry for you loss. The pain that accompanies losing someone you love in death can be deep and numbing. I am familiar with it as I have lost many that I love. May the ?God of all comfort? (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) give you a measure of comfort at this time. A couple of other verses that have given me comfort in the past are found at Job 14:14,15 where it talks of God yearning to resurrect those who have died. And Jesus resurrecting Lazarus in John chapter 11 is beautiful. I especially like that account because it speaks of Jesus weeping when he saw the pain of those around him. It helped me realize how much it hurts Jesus and his Father when we hurt. So please know that our loving Heavenly Father also feels your pain. My heart goes out to you and I hope you find a measure of comfort from this message. Cathy Wetten
