In Loving Memory

I worked for Mike (and Elias Morris) while in school and have great memories of him and Connie from those days. He was funny, fair and, most importantly, the guy who introduced me to Roy Buchanan.

Mike loooooved duck hunting. And talking about duck hunting. And trying to get us to take home some fresh duck. Worked once.

Love you Mike.

Please accept my best wishes and condolances.

May the Family know that Jesus Christ spoke some words about those who have died but will be awakened back to life again and the words can be found in John 5:28,29 to where we find him giving us a Guarrantee that he will resurrect all of our dead loved ones back to life again and then after they are brought back to life, they will be able to enjoy an endless life as it is described in the Bible at Psalm 37:29 which reads: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. So may these words bring some real comfort in the coming days.

Dear Family - Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear Mike. I have lost a dear friend with his passing. It has been an honor to get to know Mike, and you all through the company, and I so appreciate your kindness and continued support to me through the years. How fortunate I have been to be welcomed in to your lives, and I know Steve would have said the same. Enough can not be said about Mike's respect, honesty and compassion to those who passed through the door of SL Monument. Hugs and love to you all and big scratches to my pal Boog, too.

So timely that I ran into Leonard and Tina to learn - so sadly - of Mike's illness in late October. Since we had left R Street where we became friends, we had lost touch with Mike, our great neighbor across the street and also down 4th Avenue. The world was a great place to be when we knew Mike was here. What a loss to all of us. Our profound sympathies to his family. Thank you for the photos and music which captured the goodness and happiness of Mike. Our best regards.

To all of Mike's family, I was shocked to hear of Mike's passing. Nate, Buck and I had lunch with hm on October 16th. He seemed to be doing well and was still committed to beating the cancer. We had many great times playing softball and I will always remember them. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
