Toula Poulos Souvall

Dear Connie, Fred and all extended family! It was hard and very sad for us to learn about Toula passed away. She was so nice, quite, wise and intelligent women. She was always meeting us with love, joy and open heart of full kindness, as we thought just for us. She always will find words to express all of her love in a very short time of greeting after church service, and her hands will make you feel very special by her gentle, but the same time strong holding, which was giving us all generosity from this fragile lady. Remembering her always being in church, wearing nice shoes with heels, very nice suits or dresses, with perfect hair style of perfect lady, never old. Till maybe very recent. She always was saying sorry, if she couldn't come to special services, or every Sunday to church. She was already over 90 at that time. When new parish was established, St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church now, we are sure all parishioners were proud having Toula as the one of the oldest parishioner of our parish. She shared moments of history of her family. And it's an inheritance, that Soavall family is always first to be involved in church establishment, growth and become stronger spiritually. We were blessed to see Toula in church one more time recently, when St. Anna Greek Orthodox church received relics of Saint patron of the church- St. Anna. Seeing Toula and received her greeting was also very special for us. Toula will be missed by many. But we will remember her gentle and very bright soul, her loving smile and her loving heart. She was true follow of Christ. May memory of her life comfort you all at this difficult time of great loss. May her memory be eternal!
