Dollie Audrey McDonald

I met Dolly at Artistic Designers Garden Club. I immediately liked her. She was full of life, optimistic, humorous and remarkably creative. I was amazed to discover from the obituary she was 20 years older than me. She seemed so young in her outlook and attitudes. We often competed against each other in flower shows, but it was always amicable and we learned a lot from each other. We also talked about cooking, I remember she did some pretty adventurous things. I am very glad to have known such a delightful and warm person and I will especially remember her when I enter more flower shows.
