I am glad I had the opportunity to swim and play water polo for Coach Bateman. He was truly inspirational and a great mentor. My favorite story is it was my sophomore year state swim meet finals and I forgot my suit thankfully he had a spare and I won the 100 freestyle and did my best time even got my picture in the greensheet thank you coach for saving the day you will be missed .

He was my high school swim coach and i had my best and fastest times when he coached me. He then became a counselor and helped a lot of kids. He will be missed.

Mr. Bateman was my career director at KHS. He was the greatest teacher, and a friend that guided me through many hardships. He gave so much unconditional supports to me and my cousins during our high school years, when we first came to America. You'll be in my heart forever Mr. Bateman

I had only recently reconnected with Greg. He had been my first boyfriend when we were 5 or 6 yrs old. I think I loved his freckles and that he was so nice. I was pretty smart in kindergarten, picking such a nice boy to hold hands with. I'm sorry for your lose, but grateful he was in your lives.
