Ahadi Mukeshimana

In Loving Memory

I had the privilege of being one of Ahadis teachers at Lincoln. If I could describe her with one word, I would choose JOY. She radiated joy, no matter where she was or who she was with. Ahadi always had the most michevious smile, most adorable laughter and the most colorful and patterned outfits! She taught me so much and I'm so grateful that I was able to be apart of her life. I am so sorry for your loss and will be praying for your family.

I met Ahadi during my time as the Youth Program Coordinator at the International Rescue Committee assisting the family with navigating the U.S. school system. I was always impressed with how mature Ahadi was, looking out for her younger siblings and aware of other’s needs. She was a complete joy. My heart goes out to Sifa and her children. I am so sorry for her loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a teacher at Lincoln Elementary while Ahadi, Janet, and Faraja were there. Ahadi was always so happy and smiling even when she didn't understand what we were saying to her. She was such a sweet girl and always looking out for her sisters. My heart goes out to your family.

I am so sorry for your terrible loss. I met your cute daughter last year when visiting my own daughter. All the kids were playing outside on a beautiful summer evening and they were having lots of fun. I am sorry this happened and I wish comfort and peace for your family.
