I am going back this summer since my son was reinvited to the hockey camp for the UofA as a prospect for the team... I wish that you would send me your e.mail so I could send you pictures of my family... I am in CANADA...I am taking care of my MOM for the last 12 years... I wish you will reply... My heartfelt sympathies go to all the family of Mr. Zakis- I knew him thru his daughter, Kelly. He was a kind and very generous man. He was full of that bright shining light of love of life that you only see occasionally in people (and all who are near want to bask in it!). He and his wife were a stable rock for so many young people in the Middle East, they opened their hearts and home to countless young men that were alone in those strange countries- they fed them and gave of themselves to all they met. His heart was so very big and it lives on in his wonderful children and grandchildren. My family and I feel very lucky to have known such a wonderful man. He is missed. I remember with fondness when he took Kelly & me to a greek restaurant in Iran and we threw plates, laughed drank and had one of the best times in our youth ever. He is definitely in the heavens above with Mrs. Z. and Timothy.
