In Loving Memory

“To My Brother,Boss, and most important a best friend. When I met you the first time I was nervous 18year old kid you gave me a chance watching a door and from their saw my skills and gave me an opportunity to do more. You answered all my calls and texts when I was happy, excited, and most of all when I was down. You accepted me for who I was and always was their for me. It’s hit me hard knowing I can’t call my favorite person to always give me a smile when I’m down or give me advice on how times will get better. I wish I could have been there for you and said goodbye in person but I know I’m some way you would have known I would have been a big baby and probably hogged the show and cried to much. I will miss you forever Chris and like I always say at the end of each night “love you boss man see you next time” crazy thing is I didn’t know it was are last time.” Love you big bro, Simon Khatete Wanyonyi thanks for everything.

Chris was a very good friend of my brother while they were in middle school. He was always the kindest person you had ever met, always willing to include everyone in any game or activity. He was a truly great soul. The news of his passing is shocking and I send all of my love and condolences to his family and friends and anyone else impacted by his passing.

Oh my gosh, I am so saddened to see an obituary for Chris. I have not read the paper in weeks because I have been on vacation. So I was shocked to find his picture starring up at me. I have not seen this bright student who spent countless hours in my ELP classroom since he was in 6th grade. It brought tears to my eyes and a sadness in my heart to find him in this way. I wish that I had kept in touch some how. He was a sweet young man who had a love for learning that was admirable. He put in many overtime hours on any extra task I could come up with. He was over time, high on my list of favorites, even though teachers aren't supposed to have them. My deepest sympathies to Chris 's family and friends. Kasi Parara ELP teacher Highland Park

My deepest sympathies tomyour family during this time of loss. I had the privilege to work with Chris as part of the security team at the Complex here in Springfield. Though I knew him for a short time I will always remember his trusting and loving personality...of course durring shows he was all about business but he was a great man and will be missed. He was genuine person and we became a family not just co workers because Chris wanted that type of relationship. One of my favorite memories of Chris was when we split the Coco Loco Chocolate bar challenge and ventured into the valley of painfully hot just to say we did it. I'm gonna miss him. Much love from my family to yours J. Michael Hasty
