In Loving Memory

Ben, I thought of you yesterday and today but that is nothing new. At times memories come to mind and I have to laugh, we were super crazy and daring at times. LOL... I guess that is what made our relationship so special. Remember the time you slept over at my house while my dad slept in the other room? Oh my God if he would have known you were there he would have had your A**LOL . Sonja and my Mom went to Idaho we sluffed school that day and you made me the best fried egg sandwich with cheese, bacon, tomato with real Mayo and mustard.. oh and the bread had to be toasted:) So much fun so many memories. At times I talk to you and share them with you not sure if your listening or not? That's ok it's funny to think back. Memories how sweet they are. You left way to soon and I hope you are feeling better and our having the time of your life:) Hugs

Although I didn't know Ben very well, his sister Felicia is my very best friend. I do know she and Ben were very close and that her heart is broken. I'm sending love and hugs to Felicia, her husband Craig and her son Robbie as well as Ben's family. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Much love, Janet

Ben, I don't know where to start:( We grew up since I think it was 8th grade when you moved here from Kentucky to live with your dad. I remember the first time we met and that accent oh how I loved it. I think it was Love at first sight. Going to school with you and watching you play basketball was my favorite time and all the dances we went to ( I still have all the pic's) crazy but I saved all of them. I also, have all the cards you gave and sent me when you were out of town vacationing with your Mom. So many fond memories I have and will always hold them close to my heart and you close as well. Remember all those times you and I Chris, Jay and Tina would all drag State Street haha that was a blast in your Chevelle all the cars you would race and of course win!!!! All the drag races we all went to and were always in the pit area with all our friends too many to mention. You were so much fun.... remember I became a sophomore and you were a junior and my dad saw you walking to school and he didn't like that and he let you drive the Fairlane which the heater never worked but we didn't have far to go. Lol Then he let you drive his 66 Ford Truck that was fun....I have so many memories of us. I wish that we could have had one day to reminisce about the good old day's we shared. Your one amazing person and always were...now you are an Angel in Heaven and I bet the reunion with your dad, Kelly and your Mom was grand...Watch over your loved ones...Will miss you forever but never forgotten. Until we meet on the other side sweet Angel.

Ben was one of the really good ones. We worked together for nearly 30 years and I don’t remember a time when he wasn’t willing to help or go out of his way to get the job done. Nothing seemed to rattle him. He always worked hard and I never had to worry about anything if Ben was involved. I never heard an unkind word from him. He will be sorely missed. We will keep Anna and the family in our prayers.

Ben had such a magic personality. You knew Ben-you loved him. He could entertain you with his humor and delight you with his amazing cooking skills. I remember watching Ben as a new daddy and how protective and loving with his babies. He always had room in his heart to Let “auntie” be with his kids anytime I wanted. He spent many weekends taking my children for the weekend when he had his kids and my kids adored and love their Uncle Ben. Ben was so fun to go camping with as he would “rock out” in his lawn chair while we visited. Ben was a gentle giant With the most sarcastic humor and then that laugh after he commented. I am grateful to have spent many fun times with Ben and so appreciative for the closeness between both families ... god may hold him in his arms now but we hold him in our hearts always
