I'm Ms. Van Riper's grandson's teacher, and I know it was truly inspiring to see her visit the school to stay involved and be a force of love to do and be your best. She gave tough love when she had to and had a great sense of humor and willingness to help others.

To all of Trish’s family, we send our condolences. We play music up at Ruth’s Diner, and because Tracy was her sister, and with Erik, owners of Ruth’s , we would see Trish and her family up there. What a kind, warm, and friendly person. It was always great to see her. We feel terrible that she got so sick so fast and left us. What a loss. We will miss seeing her smiling face up at Ruth’s.
