In Loving Memory

Matt was an amazing man with a heart of gold. He poured all he had into teaching kids and changed their world for the better. I am grateful for the time God gave me and my family with Matt and we will forever be thankful for his amazing love and heart for helping those around him. His family will forever be in our heart and prayers!

An old friend from High School, Matt was one of my best friends, he was always there for me in my depression and was there for me the morning after I lost my cousin to suicide in 2002. I’m devastated to hear what happened and wish I could have helped. He will always be remembered, I mean who could forget that laugh.

You’re all in our thoughts and prayers. We didn’t know Matt that well, but didn’t take long to see his love and joy especially with his family. May God surround you with his peace and love. May your memories keep you strong.

You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. You were there for a dear friend of mine and made her battle easier. You have strength you showed me to make my path glow with light. This same light will carry you. I have no words to ease your pain and the loss you and your family feel. I have only hope that you find ways to remember and celebrate the beautiful.

Alexis you and your family are in our prayers. Our hearts are broken. May God comfort you in the days to come. Matt was a good friend and the kids favorite teacher. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. God Bless.

Alexis, Know that I am praying for you and your children as the reality of Matt's death becomes more of a reality each day. I pray that you can sense God's loving arms around you and giving you new strength for each day. My heart aches so much for you, but I know God is faithful to see you through this time.
