Marti, I don't have the words to tell you how sorry I am for you and your family. Joe was one of a kind. He was always so sweet and caring. I have many fond memories of him during all the years you and I worked together. He also became a dear friend to me through you. I am always here for you just as you and Joe were for me when I lost my wonderful son. Remember that God will be with you through this. Love you

To Marti, Aunt Edna and family. My deepest condolenses on the passing of Joe. I appreciated how he reached out when my wife Joyce passed a few months ago. Marti, I'm so sorry. I love you guys. My mother (one of your best friends, I believe) always said, They are really never gone unless you forget them. I'll never forget Joe. It was me who recruited him into the Knights of Columbus. BTW, yesterday, I happened onto a movie titled "Heaven is real". Boy was that inspiring. BYU tv, but not Morman, not Catholic, but an actual experience.
