In Loving Memory

Sorry for the late response, Man how I miss him. Playing Call of duty and also having a lot of sleepovers. We miss you bro. Remember, you are loved by a lot of people even me. Plus you were the guy I met when I came to Wilshire appt. Sorry I couldn't be at your funeral bro. But God bless you and fly high.

The first tume i met him on Xbox was because i needed help with the Easter egg on Call of duty. Then him and his friends joined in to help me with it and i added him as a friend. Later on we became best friends and did everything together on Call of duty. It shocked me that he has died. Our friend informed me that he has passed on the 25 and i felt so much pain after i had heard about this. My family and myself will prey for you Riley and your family. Thank you for being my friend and I will miss you. Miss you man -Ernesto Chavarria (ENBO2GR8)

I came across Riley’s story because of a mutual friend. I cannot fathom the loss of a child and as a mother myself, my heart reaches out to your family. I’m not a believer in “it gets easier;” I believe we just learn how to deal with loss differently as time goes on. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. May you find peace during this difficult time. This is a reminder for me to love even harder. Time is truly never promised. Rest In Peace, sweet boy.

Dear Riley's family, I am a student from Granger High School and had shared Theatre class with Riley and hearing he passed was really shocking. I feel so bad that you are dealing with this lose of Riley. Riley was a quiet kid so I didn't know that anything was wrong. I will send all my thoughts and prayers your way because I know you are going to need them. I am still in shock that he is gone, I know that he is and was and will forever be a good person. I know it will take a long time to accept that he is gone but if you need anything just let me know because I want to help in any way I can. I'm so sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace Riley. I'll forever miss him.

I taught Riley in elementary school in computer time. He and I would talk and laugh. He became one of my very favorite students! I am sending my love to you all and hope Riley knows of my love for him. ❤

Dearest Riley, “There is only 1 happiness in this life, to love and be loved”. Know that you are truly loved by so many. You were taken from us far too soon. We will miss you so very much but take comfort in knowing that we will be reunited again one day. We will always remember the wonderful family vacation we all took to the Oregon coast. Your grandma Elisa and I enjoy the beach as much as you do. The coast has always been a great love of ours and now it holds special reverence, remembrance, and a new meaning to us. When we go to the sea we will whisper your name to the waves, we will imagine your footprints walking along side ours as we feel the sand in our toes and the water rushes up to splash on our feet. The ocean breeze will carry our thoughts and prayers to the heavens. We will blow a kiss to the sun as it sets into the Pacific Ocean and we will know that you are safe and well. But it won’t be a sad time. It will be a time of reflection and focusing on the good times that we shared while we were all there together. We will always celebrate you and your life, young man, becomes you have touched our lives more than you will ever know. Love, KK
