In Loving Memory

To the family of dearest Marie, I had the privilege of working with her in my last year of graduate school through Neighbors Helping Neighbors. She was one of the most delightful people I've ever known and I count my self as privileged to have been given the opportunity to spend time with her. One evening, much to my surprise, Marie called me to ask if I would be interested in joining her to see "Mamma Mia," at Capital Theatre. I was so incredibly honored to be asked and took her up on the offer. What a treasured memory. Words are in sufficient, this woman lived her life in such a rich and full way. I enjoyed clipping flowers with her in the backyard garden, and hearing about each of her daughters, and their families. She was so proud of each of you and loved you all dearly, but then you must know that :-) Marie, may you rest peacefully knowing that the mark you left in this world, through your acts of kindness, hard work, faith and the legacy of your family made the world a better place for so many; including myself. Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful world. With Love, Allie
