Jean Wacondo 'Mean Jean'

My condolences to Jean’s family. I knew Jean for about 5 years working at LDS Hospital. She was such a fun person to be around especially since she had worked there for more than 40 years. I remember the first Christmas I worked there, I was living alone and lonely and not wanting to go to work. I was walking down the hallway to start my shift and Jean gave me a candy cane . That absolutely made my day that she had done something so nice. Jean, we will miss you.

We are deeply saddened by Thelma Jean’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers to Lisa and family. Thelma was so good with sending Christmas cards. She remembered us and we will remember her. Cousin Theresa & Tiger.

My sincere condolences to the Wacondo family and especially to Jason, Lisa and Garrett. It’s been many years since I seen you all. I will always appreciate Jean’s kindness and friendship. I’m still stunned by the news of her passing. It was like yesterday we had seen one another. Jean was an amazing softball player, Boy! she could hit that softball outta the park. Dear Jason, Garrett, and Lisa, I am forever grateful that your Mother and you, her children allowed us (my family, Jay, Ian, and Jonah) into your lives; that we got the chance to be family with you. I will continue to remember Thelma Jean, as one of the most loving cousins I could have in this lifetime. Your Mother will continue to be an example of strength to me. Stay safe until we meet again. I worked with Jean at LDS Hospital, I have had many conversations and laughs with her in the Bakery there. Sure to make me smile everyday I talked with her, she was most generous and fun. A great friend who will be missed. Condolences to her family from our family.

My loving condolences to Mean Jean's family and loved ones. I worked and partied with Jean on many occasions. I remember a cold, lonely, blizzardy birthday when she showed up to take me to Red Lobster to celebrate. No one was as thoughtfull, honest , or kinder than Mean Jean. My life is better from knowing her.

I knew Jean for many years I worked with her at LDS Hospital . I had the privilege of visiting her and making sure she was eating right when she was at IMC.
