We will all miss John, he was always smiling and enjoying family. I had not seen John for a few years. At Keshea wedding he waved at me and my family, we walked over he was so happy to see me.Iintroduced him to my family and Pat and John gave us hugs. Many family dinners when I visted Salt Lake and he was always there. God Bless

Aunt Pat, George, Scarlett & Chris,

We are so very sorry at the loss of Uncle John. He was the remaining patriarch of the family and will leave a large hole in our hearts and the family. His quick wit, stories, big smile and genuine thankfulness each time we visited will be missed greatly. He was an amazing man and we loved him very much. May all your memories of him help comfort you all during this very difficult time. Love and prayers to you all. Love James & Candace

Dear Pat and sons,

I have so many wonderful memories of your family when we were neighbors in Magna.  All of you were so respectful and kind to me and my family.  John was a good man.  He always had a smile and a warm greeting when we met.  He will be missed.  Pat, know that you and your boys are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.  May God comfort and bless you.

We are very sorry for your loss.  In the last 6 months we found out that we have a wedding photo of John and Pat Karpakis that must have been given to Estelle's father James Lambros or grandmother Stella Basiliou Lambros.  We did not know then that Estelle is related to Pat Maroudas (2nd cousins) and we had hoped to find a way out to Utah to visit.  I will post the picture that we have.  God Bless your family.

Uncle John was a fine man who was blessed with long life, a loving family, and a positive outlook.  Such was a terrific influence on so many of us during our formative years.  He will be greatly missed as the patriarch of the Karpakis Family.  Eternal be his memory.  God rest his soul and comfort his many loved ones.
