Megen, I hope that you will remember Dr. Black who knew you "inside out" and loved you and your Mom. I was just notified last evening of her death and was not able to attend the service, but did want to send my love and condolences to you. You must know that it was always a delight when you and your Mom would come into the office....some of my very favorite patients. My thoughts and prayers are for your peace. I am so sorry for your loss. Death is never welcomed, but it is something we are all familiar with. I hope you can find comfort in the promises of God's word, that some day there will be no more death. At Revelation 21:4 it says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. 2 Corinthians 1:3 says "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort." Please rely on God's word to give you comfort along with your wonderful memories.
