I am truly sorry. Being a cousin and living far away, I did not often get a chance to spend time with Sam. But I always looked forward to the opportunities during visits to John Day or SunRiver when we were younger. She and I were only two years apart and she was always so fun and energetic, playing practical jokes and such. My memories of her are just happy ones. Dave, I am so sorry to hear of Samantha's passing. The greatest gift we can give to those who have left us is to live fully in their place.
