This was a very well done and moving tribute to an extraordinary man. Richard was my father's nephew but they were close in age. I have fond memories of hunting with him and my father. Richard was my confirmation sponsor and I always had the utmost respect for him. When my mother passed away in 2007 he came down to visit my father who was also failing and had very kind words for him. He said that "this day comes for everyone". Indeed it does! This man will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to Carolyn and Rick and their families.

I just watched the video of your dad~!! What an amazing man he was~! He was always cheerful and fun to be around, the few times I got to see him~!! I had no idea he was a decorated service man, the video was great to see the men he served with and the ships he was on. Amazing~~!! It was fun to see He and Virginia as newly weds and first starting out and building a family. Loved the pictures of his birthday cakes and candles~! I would imagine it was hard to put 95 candles on his last cake♥ God bless you all~! and now he is with Virginia and living the good life now~! Much love to you all, Jill
