Oh my....I'm so sorry to hear this. What a great man he was. He was one of the first people I ever met at an ICC event; we bonded immediately and he became a very dear friend. My heart goes out to his family and everyone else who is mourning his loss.

Kaylana and family: We all have lost a bright shinning star. Gilbert knew how to relate to all people. He knew how to command respect because he respected everyone. I never heard him say a discouraging word. He lifted people up and these things are what made Gilbert a great leader. His example will live with me forever. God Bless!

Kaylana and family. We are so fortunate to have become friends with you and Gilbert. Gilbert became, in short order, a great friend and mentor to me, Jim. Someone who I could reach out to and trust to give me great advice and encouragement. Although we did not get to see each other often, we always looked forward with anticipation to spending time with our dear friends Gilbert and Kaylana, even having the pleasure of meeting and spending time with Armani as well. When we go to Columbus next month there will be a Gilbert sized space that will always be there and I know he will be watching the rest of us "code folks" to see that we are carrying on his legacy of good work, dedication, integrity and good will. I believe I'll see his smile when I think of my great friend. The first time I met Gilbert he said to me, "stick with me, I'll show you around". Thank you for showing me around, it has been such a great privilege. Ride On my friend Ride On!
