Elenora Margaret Geerlings

Dear Geerlings Family, I am a member of Elenora's PEO chapter. Your mom was always so fun to have at meetings and socials. Her stories were always funny and she was a very special friend and sister to all of us in the chapter. She loved nothing better than to tell us about the accomplishments of her wonderful family. Her presence at meetings has been greatly missed these last few years. I, personally, will always miss her and her beautiful smile. Lisa Anderson

Craig & Mark, What a vivid trip down memory lane this has taken me on. You two and BB. The way I remember your mom was that she was larger than life. She was full of wisdom and was very caring. She was a mentor to me. I know she helped me keep my sanity and she probably saved my life a few times. We arrived at Dugway with 4 mth old Lance and were blessed with Gaylynn, Kevin, and Heather while there. Her wisdom and nursing experience helped me get through many nerve wracking times. As I remember, Elnora had quite a sense of humor and a real talent with words. You can be so proud of the wonderful life of service she lived (almost 100 years- amazing). I watched the video and saw the wonderful legacy she left. Also saw that you guys have aged just a little bit. Craig and Mark, I have fond memories of you and wish you the best always. Watching the video tribute to my "Auntie" brought back many wonderful memories of my childhood years and the precious experiences that I had with my "Auntie" and Uncle Lee. I still remember, as if it were yesterday, my duties as ring bearer at their wedding. I was scared I would drop the ring! I will always hold the many interactions I had with my Aunt during my lifetime as very precious moments. I feel extremely blessed to have been a part of her life. As the song goes, " It isn't what you take with you when you die, it is what you leave behind when you go". Auntie Elenora left me with many beautiful memories of her and the family. Now, she gets the rest she deserves and a wonderful reunion with Lee and her parents and siblings. "Auntie", job well done! Your loving nephew, Phil P.S. Craig and Mark...don't know if you remember me, but I went from kindergarten thru the 9th grade with Mark. My older brother Dennis was just ahead of Craig(66). So sorry for your loss. I have the fondest memories of having your dad at DHS but in all those years, I don't remember ever meeting your mother. May all the good memories of your parents soften your sadness.
