Mickey Edward Hettich

In Loving Memory

Mickey  and I  were classmates  and friends..We rode to school together  our senior  year , along with  Jim Heilman  and Dan Karg.

I'm  glad to know  he had such a good life and a big family. I'm  sorry his life was cut short. I'll  always  have fond memories  of those days and our friendship.

I’m not related, that I know of, but was looking for a cousin I lost track of, his name was Mahlon but they called him Mickey , he would have been a little older and lived most of his life in CA, but born where I was, in SD I was born in 1935

Wanted to add a story to the Obituary: Mickey was Born 10/8/47 in Corning, Ohio "on the kitchen table, as Corning didn't have a hospital. Doc Miller was called when Mom went into labor, but was drunk when he arrived. So our dad's mom, Grandma (Ruby) Hettich took over and delivered Mickey!" Ask our big sis, Phyllis Lewis about this...

Losing my little brother hurts all over. Words are hard to come by at a time like this. Your will be remembered as a man with a gentle nature, always putting others first, and living by the Golden Rule. So glad you had your whole family surrounding you at the end. We will meet again.

Dear family of Mickey, I had the great pleasure to work with Mickey for number of years at Northrop Grumman. While there we both participated in a veteran's support organization. I could always count on Mickey to bring a positive attitude and can-do spirit to every endeavor. He made everyone's day little better and provided an example of selfless service and friendliness for us all. I honor his service to our country as well. His courage and bravery are attested to in his awards and service record. I am sorry that he left us and his loving family too early but am grateful for the time I got to be in his company. I am truly a better person for having had that opportunity. My deepest condolences, Clay
