Justin Scott Severnak

Justin Scott Severnak, 38, of Salt Lake City was suddenly taken from us on November 23, 2018.  Justin was born to Ronald D. Young and Barbara S. Severnak-Okerlund on October 7, 1980.  Justin had a passion for cooking and knew how to throw down a mean BBQ. He was extremely charismatic, all whom came in contact with him could not resist his charm. He had an undeniable presence and made an impact on everyone he met. He had an amazing sense of humor. It was impossible to be around him without experiencing laughter and joy.
Justin was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend. He showed his love through small acts of kindness, and larger acts of sacrifice and fierce determination. Without hesitation, he was always willing to help anyone in need. Justin valued relationships and was a true friend. He adored his family and children above all else. He will be fondly remembered by all those he came in contact with and will be missed tremendously by all those who loved him.
Justin is survived by his mother Barbara; wife Me’Lisa; sons Silas, Roman and Draydin; daughters Alysta and Giana. He is also survived by his brothers Jareth and Eean as well as all of his friends whom became family.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 7, 2018 at 2:00pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Interment to follow at West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West, West Jordan.
We will never forget the wonderful memories we have with you, the joy and laughter you brought us and the impact you have made. You are forever in our thoughts and hearts. Rest in peace Justin aka “Stacks”. Love always and forever, until we meet again.
