Zenaida P. Laroco-Silvey

Zenaida Peralta Laroco- Silvey, 97 years old, passed away at St. Marks Hospital on January 4th, 2019. She was preceded in death by her first husband Norberto Laroco, second husband, Dean Silvey, sisters Eufrocina, Felipa and Brother Jovencio, nephews Jojo & Jorge. She is survived by her sister, Delfina Fernandez, her daughters, Brenda Holl and Lynie Cortez, nieces: Nieva, Phoebe, Rela, Priscilla, Eliza, April Lucille, nephews: Alex, Arcenio, and Oliver, 28 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Zenie/Iday as she was fondly called by many, was born on August 28, 1921 in the Philippines to Ejesipo Peralta and Marta Navarro, married Norberto Laroco and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1963. She worked as a ward clerk at St Marks Hospital until her retirement in 1986. An active member of the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ), her calm, charming and warm personality, will surely be missed.

A viewing will be on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Zenaida will be laid to rest following the viewing at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and N Street, Salt Lake City.
