Bruce John Kalil, 58, of Salt Lake City, Utah, died peacefully at home after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
 
Born in Methuen, MA, he was the son of Alfred Kalil and Joan (Scannell) Kalil. After moving to Manchester, NH in 1967, Bruce  graduated from Manchester Memorial High School in 1978 and received his BS from Plymouth State University and his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
 
After teaching US history at Trinity High School, Bruce worked at his family's business, Derry Wayside Furniture. He was also an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at SNHU.
 
In 2011, Bruce move to Salt Lake City, Utah working for both Bayer Healthcare and Boston Heart Diagnostics. 
 
Bruce loved the great outdoors, fly fishing, hiking in Yellowstone National Park and especially riding his Harley. 
 
He is survived by his wife, Vickie (Schwartz) of 30 years, his two sons, Matthew of Salt Lake City, Utah and Dylan of Park City, Utah, his parents, Alfred and Joan Kalil of Bedford, NH, his brothers David Kalil and family of Stowe, VT and Jeffrey Kalil and his family of Bedford, NH.
