Christopher Robert Toth

March 2, 1993 - August 1, 2019
Christopher Robert Toth

Christopher Robert Toth. His name alone makes a sentence that means so many things. Love. Friendship. Son. Brother. Friend. Listener. Genuine. Silly. Busy minded. Adventurer. Hiker. Gamer. Advice giver. Genius. Entrepreneur. Determined. Life of the party. Authentic. Giver.

Christopher bounded into the world on March 2, 1993 and was tragically and suddenly taken from his family, friends, and this earth far too early, on August 1, 2019. He touched so many lives and was a light to many whom he crossed paths with. Christopher was a forever friend to all, never missing an opportunity to jump into a conversation with someone new, leaving with a new friend and plans to hang out. Christopher was one of the hardest workers that we know. He was always willing to do the foot work, accounting work, computer work, and really any other kind of work that was necessary to get the job done. If a friend or family member was in need, Chris would be the first one to hop in his car and drive any distance to get there in a jiffy, often with a cigarette in hand and puppy Bondy in the car, to pick you up and offer to buy you a coffee, some food, or a drink. '

Christopher has been a giver and mediator since day one. Even as a child, if there was a conflict, he would be the first one to analyze the situation and come up with a plan to make sure everyone benefited from the outcome. He was the cuddle king, little spoon, and space invader. He had a heart that could encompass the world in love.

Christopher’s work ethic was one to admire and aspire to mirror. No obstacle or situation could ever stop him from reaching his goal. He accomplished many things throughout his life but poured his life into the founding and maintaining of Select Sound Entertainment. He was willing to scoop up his life in Salt Lake City, drive over 1,000 miles and plant himself into Springfield, Missouri, where he built and managed the Complex event venue. His determination, randomness, kindness, vulnerability, love, silliness, and transparency are traits to look up to and strive to be like.

Christopher leaves behind his parents Scott and Robyn Toth; his brother and sister-in-law Ryan and Katie Toth, sister and brother-in-law Megan and MJ Tineo; his Oma (grandma), grandparents Bob and Betty Toth, grandma Judith Blanock; aunts and uncles Jeff and Tina, and Dave and Shelly; his cousins Josh Toth, Sean and Megan Storey (Hazel and Zakk), and Jesse Storey (Daisha and Oceanna), along with countless friends who quickly became his family. He joyfully joined his Nanny and his Papa in heaven.

Our Christopher, Chris, Phiffer, Chreespher, best buddy, bubby, and Chrissy Pig, we will love and miss you every day for the rest of our lives. Your legacy, love, and memory will live on in our hearts and in our lives.

A celebration of his life will be held on August 10, 2019 at Risen life Church (2780 E 3900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84124) at 3:00 P.M. If you would like to come share your memories, come as early as 2:30 to visit with the family in the same location.
