Thomas John Warren, Jr. passed away on November 10, 2019 in Sandy, Utah.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 16 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the Church’s Parish Hall.
Tom was born in Glen Cove, New York to Thomas Warren, Sr. and Laurie Louise Warren (Leech) on December 11, 1977. He spent his younger years in Idaho and Colorado where he fell in love with the mountains. As a teenager, Tom resided on the coast of North Carolina with his Grandparents where he attended South Brunswick High School and North Carolina State University. Tom moved to New York and married his wife, Kathleen Warren (Byrne) on December 30, 2006. They resided in Huntington and Brooklyn, New York before moving to Utah in the summer of 2014.
Tom is preceded in death by his Parents Tom and Laurie, Grandparents Robert and Caroline Warren, and Uncle Richard Crocker.
Tom was a loving husband to his wife Kathleen Warren (Byrne), a devoted father to his children: Laurelle, John, Breck and Edith, a nurturing brother to his sister Jennifer Johnson (Warren) and brother Kevin Warren, a high-spirited uncle to his 24 nieces and nephews and faithful owner of his dog Uncle Buck.
Tom will be remembered as a beautiful human-being who cared deeply for his family and friends. He had an adventurous spirit, love of nature, and passion for music. His fun-loving disposition, warm and welcoming smile, and joyous laugh will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
