Cynthia (Cindy) Lee Van Wagoner Curran

November 13, 1949 - December 22, 2019
Our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend Cynthia Lee Van Wagoner Curran (Cindy) earned her wings on December 22, 2019.

Born on November 13, 1949 in Salt Lake City to Carma Crawley and Allen Van Wagoner, Cindy graduated from Granite High School in 1968.  She married Scott Curran on July 13, 1970 and had three beautiful daughters.

Cindy was an exceptionally hard worker and spent over 30 years with Zions Bank in various roles, starting in the mail room.  Those closest to Cindy knew how stubborn she could be and she never hesitated to speak her mind to anyone. Cindy loved the old western movies and would rewatch them over and over despite the teasing from her children.  Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she was determined to make each year better than the last. Her greatest talent was that of a caretaker and she always went above and beyond with her children, her pets and later her mother.  Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and through them she earned the title of Growly Grandma and she wore that title proudly.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Allen, and niece, Shawna.  She is survived by her mother, Carma; daughters Melissa, Rebecca and Melanie (Darren); grandchildren Gabriel, Madalynne, Everleigh and Morrison; grand puppies Olive and Phelps; her own furbaby, Lily; brother Larry (Debbie); and sister Marie as well as her nephews, nieces and many cousins.
