Patricia B. Perry

August 11, 1954 - June 21, 2020

Patricia Brinkerhoff Perry courageously fought multiple types of cancer as she treasured every moment with her family. She peacefully returned to her heavenly home on June 21, 2020.

Pat was born on August 11, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She valued her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and demonstrated gratitude to God throughout her life. She served in many church callings. Throughout her life she had many friends. She enjoyed the memories and sharing the stories of the fun and laughter of their adventures. Pat always showed love and compassion, was her childrens rock, worlds best mom and grandmother, enjoyed baking, traveling, and kept an immaculate home.

Pat had three children with her first husband and later divorced. Her family continued to grow when she married the love of her life, Melvin Perry on November 15, 2002. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on July 21, 2007. She welcomed his three children and together they found great joy among their 6 children, their partners, and their 10 grandchildren. Pat was an advocate for her family and was consistently found serving them in various ways. Pat and Mel loved camping, traveling, and family activities. They found happiness in being together whether that was working, playing, serving, or simply being with one another.

After graduating from Kearns High School in 1972, Pat worked for Mountain Bell as a directory assistance operator from 1972-1977. She stayed home to raise her children and later worked for Granite School District as a bus driver for 24 years. Pat loved the interactions with the school children and especially the special needs students.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Perry, her children, Stephen and Melanie Perry, Cody and Tess Rapp, Paul Rapp, Michael Perry, Rachel and Charlie Durfee, and Heather Perry and Mik Toney. Her grandchildren, Hailey, Jordan, Angel, Ami, Ashley, Raquel, Kyle, Jerith, and Alex. Her grandchild, Kristopher James Perry, has preceded her in death. She is also survived by her mother, Jane Brinkerhoff, siblings, Dianne Brinkerhoff, Wendy and Brian Wilcox, Sandra and Kirt Larson, Suzanne Tanner.
