Gail Susan Burgess Wix

On October 7, 2020 at 83 years young, Gail left us after a valiant fight with multiple heath issues. She was strong until the end.

She is survived by her daughters, Gretchen and Heather with their husbands Kim and Don and grandchildren Jillian, Demy, Abigail and Graham. Preceded in death by her parents Starr and Lucille and sister Deborah.

Gail was passionate about her family, friends and community including her St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral family. She had a long career as a dental hygienist. She loved to travel, was a master bridge player and made beautiful quilts. She was a patron of local arts and artists; passionate about cooking and could prepare amazing meals with minimal effort. She was fascinated with exploring her ancestry. She was a strong, independent woman and will be sorely missed.

A memorial celebrating her life will occur at a later date when everyone who knew and loved her can gather and share their love for our remarkable mother and friend.

In lieu of flowers, Gail requested memorials to St. Mark’s Cathedral Alter Guild or Flower Fund.
