Kari Lyn Santarosa Greene

Kari passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on January 16, 2021.

There was nothing in this world Kari loved more than her children; Eddie (27) and Katarina (24). She always tried to give them the greatest life and the best birthday parties. When ever they were together it was a celebration for her. She had a 14 year battle with pancreatitis and no matter how painful it was, she always kept her chin up. She loved the Ocean and everyone she talked to she tried to convince them that a cruise was the only way to go. Kari made every thing an adventure. She loved camping and 4 ~ Wheeling with her family. She was always willing to give things a try at least once. Kari went sky diving in 2018 and zip lined across Deer Creek Reservoir on New Years Eve.

Surviving are her parents; Frank and Karen Santarosa, her children; Eddie Greene and Katarina Greene and one brother Eddie (Lana) Santarosa.

A celebration of Kari’s life will be on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to call 801-474-9119 to make a reservation between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Saturday to help ensure compliance with current social distancing guidelines.
