Andrew John Stropkai

Andrew John Stropkai was born in Burbank Calif on August 28th, 1990. Sadly, Andrew passed away in the early morning hours of November 27th,2020.

A beloved Husband, Son, Brother, “Unckie” and friend, survived by his wife-Sarah Stropkai, his mother-Valerie R Coffman, his father- Paul Stropkai, sister- Shannon Kline and a very large number of family members and friends.

From repurposing broken household appliances, to potato guns in the backyard, to counting leaves on the soccer field, as a child his parents knew right away there was something very special about this young man.

As he grew older, Andrew joined the ROTC in school…and knew immediately he was destined to serve in the military. Shortly thereafter he entered the U.S Navy as a Seabee.  After serving our country touring in the middle east and around the globe, Andrew relocated to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah.

He had a mischievous twinkle in his eye and was quick with a smile that would light up a room…exceedingly strong with an intellect to match. Andrew made the Deans list multiple times as well as being inducted into the national honor society “Phi Kapa Phi”. He attained his degree in Geological Engineering...which explains Andrew’s incredible love for nature and the outdoors.

“Although you may be out of sight,

you will always be on our minds

and live deep within our hearts
