Timothy Holt

November 6, 1944 - June 22, 2021

Timothy Holt, our beloved husband, father, grandpa, jumpmaster, soldier, hero and friend was reunited with the love of his life, Sharryl on June 22, 2021.

Tim was born November 6, 1944 to Claudia Bernice Holt in Salt Lake City. TIm grew up in Salt Lake City where he graduated from West High School before briefly moving to California to pursue his career as a rockstar!  On May 29, 1971 Tim married the love of his life, Sharryl Lynne Salisbury Holt and became a father to Sharryl’s three sons. Their daughter Eva, was born 5 years later. On August 15, 2006 their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Tim served in the US army for 34 years. During his time with the army he spent 18 months in Vietnam. He also served with the 19th Special Forces group where he had many accomplishments that included his advancement to the rank of Sergeant First Class and became a jumpmaster and a master parachutist for which he had 131 jumps. Tim loved his time with the Special Forces and often thought of them as his second family. He received much joy through the experiences he gained with the SF, especially his time spent dressing up as Santa Claus for Sub for Santa. Tim had a passion for motorcycles, hot rods, astronomy, music and most importantly his family who he enjoyed sharing his passions with.

Tim leaves behind his sons, George Alan (Jeanne) Judd, David (Rebecca) Judd, Jeff Judd, and daughter Eva Lopez (Chad Hardman), 17 grandchildren and his best friend since the 2nd grade, Lloyd Lake. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharryl, and his beloved dog, Bogie.

Our family would like to thank Summit Senior Living for caring for Tim and making him a part of their family during the time we couldn’t see him because of COVID-19. We would also like to thank Harmony Hospice for their compassionate care and dedication.
