Franklin Joseph Del Rossi

Franklin Joseph Del Rossi passed away March 15, 2022.  Frank was born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 9, 1941, to Charles Carmen Del Rossi and Angelina Tartaglione Del Rossi.  Frank married Linda Yvonne Farrar March 7, 1991.  When he was nine the family moved to New Jersey where Frank participated in track and field in high school.  He studied aircraft mechanics which led to a career with Eastern Airlines.  He later moved to Salt Lake City.

The free travel benefit from Eastern allowed Frank to ski in Europe and North and South America.  He earned a small aircraft pilot’s license and co-owned a plane with friends.  He was always interested in classic airplanes and classic cars.  He loved bicycling and cruising in Europe and the Americas.  He and Yvonne adopted rescue dogs that he liked to take on walks.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Gabriel and Charles Del Rossi.  He is survived by his wife Yvonne and his sister Frances (Ginger) Reese.

A celebration of life will be on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.
