David Donlee Allred

February 14, 1977 - September 18, 2022

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of David Donlee Allred.

David was born on Valentine's Day, 1977 in Castro Valley, CA to Sharon and Bruce Allred. He came into this world, early and eager as the baby of the family. From the moment he was born, he was loved by all who had the honor of having him in their lives.

David loved his beloved country and served it well. He spent his childhood in the Bay Area, CA, earning his Eagle Scout rank and graduating James Logan High School. He went on to serve two tours overseas and continued to be active in the Army Reserve with the 200th MP Command, served in the 438th detachment and the 420th MP company. The Army is where he met some of his closest friends, with whom he always spoke so highly of, and held dear to his heart.

David fell in love with his wonderful wife, Christina German in 2011. They married in 2013 and had two beautiful children, Emerson (7) and Leonora “Nora” (5). He loved this little family of his with all of his heart.

Beyond his love for family and country, he was passionate about helping others. David completed his studies from Seattle Pacific University in 2006, continued on to obtain his Doctorate from Loma Linda University in 2018, and became a member of the Knights of Columbus. He took great pride in his career, keeping an open door policy. He always made time to listen with a non-judgmental, compassionate heart. He had a way of always providing comforting words and encouraging advice.

His kindness did not discriminate between friends, family, strangers, and clients. David was driven to help anyone and everyone sort through their troubles and heart-ache. David carried depth with all of his conversations. He wanted to truly get to know people and know their life story. By the end of the conversation, you would feel like you were best friends. He was always the person that you could call and count on.

He brought humor and joy to everything he did, making light of all situations. He demonstrated an ongoing commitment and dedication to doing the right thing.

David was always open to adventure. A true “foodie” at heart, he enjoyed culinary exploration and loved experiencing other cultures through their cuisine. He respected and immersed himself in any environment and with everyone who was blessed to have met him. His light touched countless lives and David will be sorely missed.

David is survived by his wife Christina “Tina” Marie German-Allred, his children Emerson Bruce Allred and Leonora Nemia Allred, parents-in-law Cirilo and Nemia German, siblings DeMae and Kim Humphries (Jeanette Radmall, Matthew, Christopher and Andrew), Devin and Brook Allred (Parker and Preston), Dallas and Emily Allred (Franciene, Fern, Feona, DJ, Kibi, and J-den), Christopher and Lindsey German (Maddox, Christopher, and Madeleine), Charles German, Cody and Wency German (Kingston), numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
