David Christopher Browne

David Christopher Browne of Draper, Utah, passed away on February 3, 2023. He was 72 years old. David Browne was born to Allison and Lois Browne on November 20, 1950. 

The Ballpark District of Salt Lake City was David's home throughout his childhood. He received his education at South High. After finishing high school, David pursued a degree in theology at Oakwood College. In later years, he found love with Juanita Brown, and they went on to have a son named David Jr.

David had endured many health issues over the past decade, including knee surgery due to an injury sustained while playing football as a teenager. David was a patient at several nursing homes for a significant portion of his life. On the other hand, David had a favorable impression of the Draper Rehabilitation Center. He liked getting around in his electric wheelchair to see and talk to the many visitors, staff, and patients. He made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories he shared. 

He is survived by a loving son David Jr. and his wife, Jennifer; his sisters Marilyn, Linda (Joseph), his brother Darryl (Shizuko) and his sister Syndi (James); and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

David's life will be celebrated on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at the Salt Lake City Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, 460 S 800 E, Salt Lake City. To remember his life and pay tribute to his memory.
