Amy Michelle Laxman, 49, passed Sunday, March 12th at St. Marks Hospital. Amy was born February 16th, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Amy is survived by her children (her “world” in her words), Bryton and Kasi (Christian), her best friend and mother, Sandy, her loving father, Scott, her siblings and nieces who all adored her and a nephew on the way.

Music has always been a huge part of Amy’s life. She had many favorites, but has been Royal Bliss’ #1 fan since 2006. She often traveled to Wendover to not only see them perform her favorite songs but to also get up close and personal with the band members. Many things in life brought her joy. Some of those things included Marilyn Monroe, butterflies, fairy gardens, birds, photography, and dolphins (just to name a few). 

She was amazing at appreciating the little things. She never hesitated to help a stranger, give a compliment, or show up for her loved ones. She was so sentimental and held a place in her heart for everyone. 

Family and friends are invited to attend Amy’s celebration of life on Tuesday, March 21st from 12:00Noon until 2:00PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S 900 E, Millcreek, UT.  Guests are encouraged to use the main entrance at the north side of the building.
