Tanner Cole Trudel

January 31, 2001 - March 15, 2023

Tanner Cole Trudel returned to his Father in heaven on March 15, 2023. He was born in Madison, WI to his parents Linda Brown Trudel, MD who lives in Virginia Beach, VA and Ronald Raymond Trudel, MD, MS who lives in Cottonwood Heights, UT. He leaves behind his adoring sister, Madison W. Trudel, of Virginia Beach, VA, a loving stepmother, Susan Trudel (formerly Manos) half-brother Bryan A. Trudel of Cranston, RI and half-sister Heather A. Trudel of North Springfield, RI. Tanner was preceded in death by his twin brother, Hunter and his grandparents Raymond Arthur Trudel and Gertrude Marie Trudel of Pawtucket, RI and Melvin Jay Brown and Dolores Brown from Salt Lake City, UT. Additionally, Tanner leaves behind his new stepbrothers Philip Manos, Michael Manos, and stepsister, Madison Manos, with whom future family adventures were already being envisioned and planned.

Tanner was a free spirit. He always greeted you with a smile. He was passionate about mountain climbing and loved to downhill ski and snowboard, especially at Snowbird. He possessed an incredible love for animals; especially his dogs, Brewster and Chanelle, Timmy his gecko, and the black bunnies that frequented his backyard in Cottonwood Heights. Gardening and fishing with his dad brought Tanner great peace and joy. He also enjoyed music and began playing guitar at a young age. While growing up, Tanner was active in the Boy Scouts and attained the rank of Eagle Scout.

Tanner also leaves behind many close friends and will be missed by everyone who knows him. He was employed by Petzl as a Receiving Lead Back-up and made many impressive contributions there. He was looking forward to a bright and promising future with this amazing company that he was proud to be a part of. Tanner was extremely grateful for the interactions and special friendships he had with his colleagues and very much appreciated the support he received from his mentor and supervisor, Cole Kussee, and Tom Adams, COO.
