"Kenny"

Kenny passed away on March 17th after a brief illness in Salt Lake City.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family, his dog Molly and working in his yard. He traveled extensively and loved visiting the Amateur Circus every year for the last 33 years, in Peru, Indiana. After many years of derision he lived to see his beloved Chicago Cubs win the World Series.

Kenny lived life on his own terms! His family will remember him for his generosity and loyalty. He leaves behind a Kenny sized hole in our hearts to be filled with love and colorful memories. May All Your Days Be Circuis Days Kenny.

Survived by his wife of 53 years Kathryn; daughter Deborah (Melinda), Deana (Tracy); 3 grandchildren Ryan, Sarah (Jordan) and Nicholas; brother Phillip (Kathleen); and his beloved doodle Molly. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Keith Stats.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Volunteers of America, First Step House or Animal Rescue Services.
