Michelle Mounteer Larsen

Our beloved mother, daughter, and sister passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2017. She was born on February 1, 1968 in Salt Lake City Utah to Kenneth and Colleen Mounteer. Michelle was a go-getter with an outgoing personality. She took pride in everything she set her mind to. She ran a home daycare for 20 plus years and developed  many great relationships along the way with so many parents and children. She enjoyed so many things from cooking, playing with her bunnies and her dogs, to her pink camo and her cowboy boots, but Michelle's biggest accomplishment was her best friend and son, Wyatt Tracy Larsen. She was the happiest when they were together, whether it be camping, wheeling, or going to the demolition derbies. She will be so greatly missed by so many and our lives will definitely never be the same without her. 

She leaves behind her son, Wyatt (Latasha) Larsen; mother, Colleen Mounteer; sister, Lisa (Will) Durrant; and her nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Mounteer, and her brother Kelly Mounteer. 

A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 31st from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
