Stavroula Barbouletos

Stavroula   Barbouletos died November 5, 2017 in the presence of family and friends.  She was born in Crete, Greece to Varthees Kounalakis and Chrissie Kaparouthakis on February 28, 1928.  She was one of six children.

She was an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church, Daughters of Minos, and Philoptohos.  

She is survived by her son Paul (Marjorie) Barbouletos; grandsons James (LeAnne) Barbouletos and Stephen (Caitie) Barbouletos; great grandchildren Stephen, Sophia, Elizabeth, Thomas, and Rosaly Barbouletos. She is also survived by her sister Mary P. Katsanevas of SLC, Utah and brother Manousos of Crete, Greece and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.   She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew, parents, grandson John; brothers Spiro, Adonis, and sisters Stella and Evangellia.

Stravroula will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who loved her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 8, 2017, at 12 noon at the Holy Trinity Cathedral 279 South 300 West - Salt Lake City Utah.  Interment to follow services at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Starks Funeral Parlor.
