Andrew Katsanevas born October 12,1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah the second son of Michael and Alice Katsanevas, died June 10, 2018 at his home in West Jordan with his family by his side. 

Everyone who knew Andy knew Sherlene was the love of his life, they were high school sweethearts and spent the last 54 years loving and caring for each other. They were married July 18, 1970 and have two beautiful children.

Andy graduated from South High in 1967.  Andy was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and retired from the University of Utah. He enjoyed working in his beautiful yard with his son, visiting with friends and family, and sharing a meal at his favorite places Ogies, Crown/Astro Burgers, Morelia's, Aristo's, and Landmark Grill.  His pride and joy were his two children Andrew and Michelle and of course his grandpuppies, Coco and Olivia and his buddy Theo. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend.  He will be missed very much by family and friends. A special thanks to all his friends and family who would call and keep him company.

Survived by his wife Sherlene; son Andrew Katsanevas; daughter Michelle Katsanevas Drury; and grand puppies Coco and Olivia.  Preceded in death by parents, and brother.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 5335 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, where friends may call upon the family prior to the service beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South. 

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be given to the Huntsmen Cancer Research.
