MICAH DANIEL REYNOLDS

1959-2011

Having lived a wonderful life, Micah Daniel Reynolds passed away peacefully on September 22, 2011 after battling pancreatic cancer. Micah was born in Ogden, Utah on August 2, 1959 to George and Florine Wesley Reynolds. He attended Ogden High School, graduating in 1978. He married Sharon Kaye Thompson on June 15, 1996. Micah had a long career in the fire protection industry beginning with Reynolds Fire Protection and later as the owner of Fire Protection Plus.

Survived by his wife Sharon; son Chris (April); grandsons Trey and Andre; brothers Albert and Jimmy Dennis; sisters Martha and Elaine (Marty); aunts Bina McCowan and Debora Jordan; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Stevie and Sammy.

The family would like to thank Micah’s medical team at the Huntsman Cancer Institute; Dr. Kimberly Jones, Dr. John Weiss, Nicole Orgain, PA, and Nancy Stirling, RN. A special thanks to his hospice nurse, Charlee Piner.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1090 South State Street, Salt Lake City. Interment immediately following funeral services at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 500 South 1349 East, Salt Lake City.
