“Della” 

Our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully surround by her family on July 13th, 2009.  She can now rest comfortably and watch over us.  Heaven has a new angel. 

Della was born on October 4th, 1924 to Zacarias and Emilia Pacheco Sanchez in Ojo Sarco, New Mexico.  She was retired from Litton Industries.  She was a kind, generous and loving person.  She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.  Mom liked to travel to Las Vegas and St. George.   

Della is survived by her daughters Anna (Mark) McMillan, Kaylyn (Todd) Smith; sons Rick (Lydia) Gonzales and Ron Gonzales; grandchildren Tiffany (Ken), Chris, Joe, Misty, Devon, Dylan, and Daiton, Jesse, Andrea, Brandi and Britne; great-grandchildren Bryson and Brayden;  brother Abe; sister Olivama; and many numerous nieces and nephews.  She will be deeply missed and loved by all of us.   

Preceded in death by her husband Leo; parents; daughter Georganna; sisters Virginia, Sylvia, Lugarda; and brothers Max and Lee. 

A vigil will be offered on Sunday, July 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns where a rosary will start at 7:00 PM. A

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 20th at 10:00 AM, also at the church.  A private inurnment will be held for family members at Redwood Memorial Estates. 

In keeping with mom’s wishes a celebration of her life will be held in her honor at a later date where family and friends will be welcome to attend. 

The family wishes to thank Dr. Bruce C. Irvine, Dr. Abdul Saidi and the staff in ICU at Pioneer Valley Hospital for their warm, compassionate and competent care of our mom.

Ronnie,Anna,Kaylyn and Rick. My deepest condolences in the death of my Tia. I certainly know what you are going through. Keep the memory of how much she loved you and her grandchildren always in your heart. She may be gone from this earth but she will forever live in your heart and memories. I know she loved me and I loved her. She is now with my mama and the rest of her family. God bless you all. My prayers are with you.
