Alberta Lee Carter

November 21, 1942 - August 27, 2014

Alberta passed away unexpectedly on August 27th, 2014. She was born on November 21st, 1942 in Bastrop, Louisiana to Helen and Thomas Barnes.

Alberta enjoyed shopping and loved to cook. She was a loving mother and friend to all. She had such a giving heart.

Survived by her children Robin, Ray, Jackie, Debby, Tiffany, Debrah, Ester and Michael D.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband and love of her life David Carter, and son Michael.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 12:00 noon at Calvary Baptist Church, 1090 S. State St., Salt Lake City, where a viewing will begin an hour prior to services. Interment to follow at Taylorsville City Cemetery, 4500 S. Redwood Rd., Taylorsville.
