“If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take,” which He did on June 9th after a short illness, surrounded by the ones that love her most.
Born on April 10th, 1979, Ali loved the outdoors, music, dancing and cooking. But the real loves in her life were her three children whom she loved playing with, Maria (12), Bernardo (3) and Abenecia (2).
Survived by her children; mother Yette; brothers Robert (Misty) Suarez, Kurt (Patty) Holm, Phillip Martinez; sisters Brooke (Tony) Martinez, Tammy Jones; grandpa Bernardo Suarez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Preceded in death by her father Bernardo Suarez; step-father Luis; sister Maria Nieves; step-brother Thomas; grandma Vera Suarez; and grandpa and grandma Holm.
Ali was always a giving person in life and even in death—there are 6 lives being saved as a result of her organ donation. A special thanks to the staff of IHC ICCU, Greg and Paula at Intermountain Donor Services for all the help and compassion.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 5:00 PM at Highland Stake Center, 2700 South 1550 East, Salt Lake City.
Arrangements entrusted to Starks Funeral Parlor. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.starksfuneral.com.
In lieu of flowers an account is established for her children at Chase Bank where donations may be made to the account of Maria Soriano.
